How to Become a Notary Public in Missouri

Missouri Notary requirements:

  • Minimum Age: 18 years old – Must be able to read and write English. Must be a citizen or legal
    permanent resident of the United States.
  • Residency: Legal Resident or Employee

  • Bond Required: $10,000 Notary Bond

  • Application Fee: $25

  • Must not have a commission revoked during the past 5 years. Must not be found guilty, or entered a pleas of guilty or nolo contendere, in a criminal prosecution under the laws of any state or of the United States, of any felony or any offense involving dishonesty or moral turpitude during the past five years
