How to Become a Notary Public in West Virginia

West Virginia Notary requirements:

  • Minimum Age: 18 years old

  • Residency: Resident or place of employment or practice in this state

  • Commission Term – 5 year

  • Application Fee: $72

  • Must be able to read and write English. Must have high school diploma or its equivalent. Not be disqualified to receive a commission under W.Va. State Code§39-4-20(6)
